1. Product Overview
Complying with the national standard of GB1208-2006 Current Transformer, our vertical oil immersed current transformer is used for current measurement, electric power metering, and relay protection.

3. Product Structure
a. This vertical oil immersed current transformer is made up of the primary body, expander, oil conservator, primary conducting rod, porcelain bushing, mounting barrel, and oil tank.
b. The body consists of primary winding and secondary winding. The primary winding is U-shaped and the primary conductor is semicircular aluminum tube or paper covered flat copper wire.
c. The primary winding is divided into two parts, with a total of 4 connectors which are all led out through the oil conservator. The P2 side is connected with the conservator equipotentially, and others are insulated with the conservator.
d. The current ratio can be changed by changing the connection mode of the conservator's outer connection piece.
e. The secondary winding is fixed at the bottom bracket and the connectors of the secondary winding are led out from the secondary wiring board of the tank outlet box. External cables are connected to the outlet box through the outgoing hole at the bottom of the box.
f. The main insulation is a kind of capacitive oil-paper insulation. The high-voltage cable paper is wound on the primary conducting rod. There are multiple capacitive screens. The inner screen is connected with high potential and the earthing screen, also called end screen, is grounded.
4. Main Features
a. The product body is dried under the vacuum of 5Pa. Water treatment is more thorough and dielectric loss does not rebound at runtime.
b. At 80% of the power frequency withstand voltage, partial discharge is less than 5pC, so operation is stable and reliable.
c. Our vertical oil immersed current transformer has strong ability to withstand short-time thermocurrent. The industry average is 25-31.5kA/3s for series connection while our product delivers 40-50kA/3s for series connection and 63kA/3s for parallel connection. The rated dynamic stability current of our product is 125kA while the industry average is 80kA.
d. The secondary wiring board is integrally molded by the epoxy resin. Sealing properties and moisture resistance are excellent.
e. With a low center of gravity, our vertical oil immersed current transformer has outstanding earthquake resistance.
f. The leading-out terminal of the end screen is led out by a small bushing, which facilitates detection
